What COVID has done…
--"JAGGED LITTLE PILL” will not return after its COVID shutdown and is now a permanent casualty.
-- “Hamilton,” now canceled through Dec. 26, had previously canceled its Dec. 17 through Dec. 19 performances, as well as its Dec. 15 performance due to the detection of positive results.
-- “Aladdin” announced that it was canceling performances from Dec. 21 through Dec. 24, with an expected resumption date of Dec. 26, after additional breakthrough cases were found in the company. …
-- “Dear Evan Hansen” announced the cancellation of shows from Dec. 20 through Dec. 26. It expects to resume on Dec. 27.
-- “Ain’t Too Proud” announced a further cancellation through Dec. 26.
-- “Hadestown” has canceled its shows until Dec. 28.
-- “Harry Potter and the Cursed Child” announced its cancellation through Dec. 27, becoming the first play to cancel through Christmas.

- “Waitress” and “Thoughts of a Colored Man” temporarily closed and then decided to NOT RETURN so they are permanent victims of the Omicrom variant of COVID.

“Music Man” star Hugh Jackman tests positive for Covid causing the show to temporarily suspend performances.
SPECIAL NOTE: In anticipation of the January slump, it is expected that up to 20 of the 30+ shows now performing will shutter.
