Chapter 5 (Promotion, Marketing):

Statistically, the most foreign tourists visiting the Broadway theatre come from Great Britain (#1) and Brazil (#2). 

Chapter 5 (Promotion, Marketing):

Theatre owners Jujamcyn Theatres and Nederlander Organization have started the "Situation Project" whose aim it is to bring Broadway experience to New York teens, with the hope that they will catch the bug and become theatregoers. For the next 5 years, free tickets will be distributed to teens, starting in 2015 with the new musicals Andrew Lloyd Weber's "School of Rock" and Gloria Estefan's "On Your Feet". 

Chapter 8 (Media, NY Times):

Directors and writers have written an open letter to the NY Times after the Times recently stopped crediting designers in their reviews/articles. 

Chapter 12 (Surprises):

The longest-running show list changes once again. Our list at the end of Chapter __ notes the shows that are still running and therefore can/will move up in the rankings. As of today, LION KING is now the 3rd longest-running show in history surpasses CATS and LES MIZ. 

Chapter 12 (Surprises):

The Gypsy Robe ceremony is now in its 65th year (as of Oct 12). Three retired robes are in the NY Public Library for the Performing Arts at Lincoln Center two are in the Smithsonian National Museum of American History, and three are in the Museum of the City of New York. The other 25 gypsy robes remain with Actors Equity Advisory Committee on Chorus Affairs. 

Chapter 25 (Summary):

Actor Arthur French (interviewed in this chapter) has just received the 2015 Paul Robeson Citation Award from Actors' Equity Association.
