We talk about crafting a vision on an already layered piece, sharing that vision with an amazing design team, audience responses and the through-lines of Wilson’s work.

Set in 1904, this first installment of August Wilson’s The American Century Cycle journeys to Pittsburgh’s Hill District and tells a mystical story of freedom, justice and redemption.
