Facebook's podcast offerings are vanishing just a year after they launched. Parent company Meta has confirmed to Bloomberg that it will wind down podcasting, Soundbites and its general audio hub. It will no longer let podcasters add shows to Facebook as of this week, and will remove them entirely on June 3rd. The hub and Soundbites will close sometime in the "coming weeks," while Live Audio Rooms will fold into Facebook Live.

2022 is barely a few days old. Theatre Owners and Producers are having a hard time doing business right now. Remember the days when there was no risk producing a “Guys and Dolls”? Well, with COVID and her many variants, the expenses pile up and the risk is heightened. Broadway is resilient. The protocols in-place have kept everyone safe but, that does not mean there are no challenges. So, we focus on Chapters 5, 10 and 22 in this update. And, as we post, more developments continue.
